Open Ended Question: Trustworthy?

I’ve seen a lot of sites that offer insurance online and I wonder about it. Sure, plenty are legit, but how do you weed out the ones that don’t seem…too right to you? What are the warning signs? If they promise too much, is it an issue? If they promise too little, is there a catch? How can you pick the right insurance when there are so many options (maybe not the right one for you) around?
What do you look for when looking for insurance? What red flags do you look out for?
